Genting Casino Entry Requirements: What to Check Before You Go

Age and eligibility

Current Resorts World Genting membership terms state that gaming-related membership applies to people aged 21 and above, and lists excluded groups including Malaysian Muslims. Read the current official wording rather than relying on an old screenshot or third-party summary.

• Confirm the minimum age for the specific gaming area.
• Check nationality, residency or religious-status restrictions that may apply.
• Do not assume hotel or resort access means gaming-floor eligibility.
• Ask the official venue when your situation is unclear.

Identification and membership

• Bring an original, valid government-issued identity document.
• Check whether a physical or digital membership account is required.
• Make sure the name and date of birth match the document.
• Do not buy, borrow or share another person's membership credentials.
• Verify whether foreign visitors need a passport rather than another ID.

Dress, bags and venue rules

Dress and access rules can differ between venues and events. Check the casino-specific guidance directly; a restaurant, exhibition or hotel dress code may not be the casino-floor rule.

• Ask about shorts, sleeveless clothing, footwear and headwear.
• Check photography, filming, bag and electronic-device restrictions.
• Plan secure storage for valuables and travel documents.
• Confirm operating hours and temporary closures on the day.

Before leaving home

• Open the official RWG website by typing the domain yourself.
• Confirm rules and operating details close to the travel date.
• Use only contact details published on the official domain.
• Set a fixed entertainment budget and do not borrow to gamble.
• Keep return transport and essential spending separate from the budget.
